Colonel (Retired) Anthony "Tony" McConnell is a results-driven leader with over 30 years of experience leading teams and managing complex operations—from aviation missions to organizational transformation. A Master Army Aviator with 3,400+ flight hours in helicopters and multi-engine airplanes, Tony brings a legacy of high-stakes leadership and operational excellence.

Throughout his military career, Tony excelled in command and staff roles, culminating as the State Army Aviation Officer. He led with clarity and conviction as Battalion Commander of 1-107th Aviation Operations Battalion during Operation Enduring Freedom–Afghanistan (2011–2012) and supported international missions in Kosovo as both Operations Officer (2004) and Deputy Chief of Staff for NATO Kosovo Forces (2014–2015).

Today, Tony channels his deep experience into building high-performing teams and cultivating workplace cultures that people would be crazy to leave. He is one of the architects behind the Irresistible Workplace Initiative, which helps organizations thrive by focusing on leadership, trust, growth, and employee engagement. His approach blends strategic thinking, ethical leadership, and practical tools to empower teams and create environments where people and performance flourish.
